We developed this Privacy Notice in order for you to understand how we collect, use, communicate and disclose personal information. 1. Travel Tech Introduction
The Travel Technology Association (“Travel Tech”) is committed to respecting the privacy and protecting the personal information of individuals with whom we interact. Travel Tech is a 501(c)(6) non-profit corporation established in the State of California, advocating for public policy that promotes transparency and competition in the travel marketplace to encourage innovation and preserve consumer choice.
2. Privacy Notice Application
This Privacy Notice applies exclusively to the traveltech.org website (“Website”) and related applications (“Services”) offered by Travel Tech. This Notice sets out the basis on which we will process any personal data or usage information we collect from you, or that you provide to us, in connection with your use of our Website or Services.
Your access to and use of our Website is conditional upon your acceptance of and compliance with this Privacy Notice. This Privacy Notice applies to everyone who wants to access or use our Website. Please read this Notice carefully so that you understand your rights in relation to your personal information. By accessing or using our Website, you agree to be bound by the provisions of this Privacy Notice and if you disagree with any part of the Privacy Notice, then you do not have our permission to access or use our Website.
This Privacy Notice does not apply to:

- Travel Tech employees or job applicants.
3. What Are Your Responsibilities When Providing Personal Information?
You have the responsibility to ensure that any personal information that you provide to us via this Website or the Services is accurate and kept up to date. You should not send us any sensitive information such as social security numbers, driver’s license numbers, passwords unrelated to the use of this Website, information related to racial or ethnic origin, political opinions, religious beliefs, health data, biometrics or genetic, criminal background or trade union membership information. If you do send us sensitive information, then you are consenting to its processing in accordance with this Privacy Notice.
Whenever you interact with Travel Tech on behalf of another individual or entity, such as by providing or accessing personal information about another individual, you represent that your interactions and exchanges comply with applicable data privacy and protection laws. If you do not have appropriate/necessary authorizations or fail to inform the other individual about how their personal information will be processed, you will be solely responsible for any violation of applicable data privacy and protection laws.
4. What Information Do We Collect?
- Submitted Information
You may access and use many of our Services without telling us who you are or revealing any personal information about yourself. However, some Services may require you to provide us with personal information (referred to for convenience as “Submission Pages”). You may provide us with contact information by contacting us via our Website, completing a form on our Website, email, telephone, social media, registering for an event, downloading one of our publications, subscribing to our newsletters or otherwise.
The information collected includes (but is not limited to) your name, job title, employer name, business address, business email address, phone number, and information about your interests in travel technologies. In these situations, if you choose to withhold any personal information requested by us, it may not be possible for you to gain access to certain Services and for us to respond to you.

From time to time, Travel Tech receives personal information from authorized third parties and sources.

When you use credit card or bank account details to pay for products or services provided by Travel Tech, we rely on third party payment processors and only they will have access to your financial information for purposes of completing your transactions with us.

It is in our legitimate interests to use your personal information in a variety of ways to provide effective Services, produce useful content and operate our business. Our Privacy Notice does not apply to services and products offered by such third parties, and any information you provide through those third-party sites or services is subject to those operators’ policies governing privacy and security, if any, even if accessed through our Services. - Confirm that Travel Tech is processing your personal information, or to have access to the personal information Travel Tech may have about you. Reasonable access to your personal information will be provided at no cost upon request.
- Correct any personal information that Travel Tech has concerning you that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Request that Travel Tech erase your personal information or stop processing it. Please note that in some cases, we may not be able to remove your personal information, in which case we will let you know if we are unable to do so and why.

We provide many choices in relation to our marketing communications via an unsubscribe option on every marketing email. If you opt-out of marketing emails, we may still send you transactional and administrative emails about the Services you use.
8. Where Do We Process Your Information?
All our data processing activities happen in the United States. Travel Tech’s headquarters, servers, this website and the majority of Travel Tech Services are located and operated in the United States. If you are using the Services from outside the US, please be aware that your information will be processed in the United States or countries where our service providers and partners are located.
By using our Services and providing us with information, you consent to the transfer, processing and storage of your information in the United States. Please be aware that data privacy laws vary worldwide and some may not be as comprehensive as others. When personal information is transferred to the us in the United States, we will adequately protect it as described in this Privacy Notice.
9. How Do We Protect Your Information?
We are committed to protecting the security of your personal information and have implemented appropriate physical, technical and administrative safeguards against loss, theft, and unauthorized use, access, alteration, destruction or modification of your personal information. We limit the amount of personal information that we collect. We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it, however, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. We cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. We also destroy personal information that we no longer need. If you believe your Personal Data has been compromised, please contact us. In the event that personal information is compromised, we will promptly notify our customers in compliance with applicable law.
10. How Long Do We Keep Your Information?
Travel Tech retains personal information for the duration of our business relationship with you and for a reasonable period after the relationship ends.
11. Children’s Privacy
Protecting the privacy of minors is especially important. Our site is not directed towards minors and Travel Tech does not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from minors. If you believe that we might have any information from or about a minor, please contact us and we will delete that information.
12. Updates to This Privacy Notice
We may update this Privacy Notice when necessary to reflect changes in our Services, to implement changes required by applicable law, or as we may otherwise deem necessary or appropriate. If you continue to use our Services after those changes are in effect, you agree to the revised notice. By completing purchases with us you agree to have your Credit card and personal information securely stored as part of a payment profile within a 3rd party payment gateway. This securely stored payment profile will be used, when authorized, for automated recurring payments and will allow for easier and faster checkouts. No credit card information is stored within Member365 and all payment data is accessed by way of a secure API. Under no circumstances do we share credit card or personal details.
Who can access the Travel Tech Members-Only Online Portal member portal?
Please note that the Travel Tech Members-Only Online Portal member portal is to be used by members of Travel Tech Members-Only Online Portal only. Certain workspaces within the member portal will be tailored for and restricted to certain membership types; access to these areas will be determined and approved by Travel Tech Members-Only Online Portal staff. The Content that is displayed in your member portal will automatically vary based on your user / membership type.
What can be posted?
To ensure all interactions within the Travel Tech Members-Only Online Portal member portal are safe and friendly, Travel Tech Members-Only Online Portal staff will oversee the member portal activity and will review, edit, and delete any inappropriate content that has been submitted. This includes abusive or offensive language, spam, malicious files, or other disrespectful contact. To help provide a productive environment, please report any offensive or suspicious activity to Travel Tech Members-Only Online Portal staff. Please note that not all user-submitted content is representative of Travel Tech Members-Only Online Portal, nor does it necessarily represent the views of Travel Tech Members-Only Online Portal, its staff or members.
